During my recent trip to Melbourne, I visited the wonderful paper store Kami. I love paper craft and spend hours during sleepless nights folding tiny flowers, cranes, and paper stars. Most of these pose little purpose other than to briefly focus my thoughts, only to be scattered on my floor along with my mind’s debris. Melbourne is icky. My sister is the best.

At the moment, I’m in Melbourne. It’s gross. Yep, I’m not a particular fan of Melbourne. Everything is covered in at least one more layer of grime than seems perfectly necessary or in any way hygienic, and the water tastes funny.  Unfortunately, life requires that I visit this particular den of filth and distasteful liquids fairly regularly. I’ll take the outfit that makes me look… satisfied.

I rarely go into town, what with… the people. This is one of the main reasons I would never move to a bigger city – even little Hobart is too crowded for me.
