Mostly if something terribly mortifying happens to me, I just recreate it in a story or comic with me as an Olive… and it turns out others find my embarrassment amusing. Eventually I do too – it’s quite a cathartic exercise really!

Me too! he he….. Did I ever tell you that at least 8 new friends were in the next room and totally didn’t let me live it down for a year! Signature song (which was awkward for those not in on the joke, lyrically was not at all my manifesto), I tried to learn the dance moves and everything. But it always made me think of (and miss) you.
I find your embarresment amusing, becuase I’ve been there, but you make things I can relate to so much more pure comedy – it’s fantastic
